Belcan currently have an on going relationship with RJAT Consultancy. RJAT Consultancy currently have personnel engaged on multiply projects. 

Past Project 1 - 

Development of a Fibre Back bone at a Ministry of Defence site in UK. 

RJAT Consultancy was engaged by Belcan when one of there customers requested the design of a Fibre Optic network at one of there sites, this project included understanding the customer requirements and environment to be able to design a suitable underground and above ground fibre optics network. RJAT Consultancy produced, detailed cable schedules, annotated customer drawings and patching diagrams as well as a fully revised technical specification. RJAT Consultancy utilised an engineer with knowledge of systems and requirements engineering as well as with previous experience of working with fibre and IT networks.  

Past Project 2 - 

Creation of an Engineering Design Guide for a Pneumatic system for a Transit Bus.

RJAT Consultancy was awarded a contact to produce a proof of concept design guide for a bus manufacturer to improve the consistency and robustness of design across multiple sites. This project involved understanding the legacy processes and documentation, reviewing warranty and build issues data and generating a set of design requirements to form the best practices.. This was then documented in a graphical format with illustrations and diagrams to  support the engineers as they design pneumatic systems. This document along with its associated requirements formed the basis for verification and validation of the design. RJAT Consultancy used an engineer with knowledge of buses and technical documentation as well as having past experience of requirements engineering.

Altran engaged the service of RJAT Consultancy to complete 2 different projects on their behalf. 

Past Project 1 - 

Roll out of a PLM solution for the software department of a leading bus manufacturer. This included taking the Siemens Polarion ALM tool and tailoring it to suit the business needs, including adding the capability to manage the teams workload, track tasks and create tailored technical specifications using the variants feature of Polarion. RJAT Consultancy used an engineer with experience of project life cycles, systems and requirements engineering and software. 

Past Project 2 - 

Complete electrical design of a double decker bus for a new customer. This project required that RJAT Consultancy acted as lead contractor coordinating the efforts of different suppliers to deliver the project. The work included the extensive redesign of the vehicle schematics to integrate the customers requirements, completed using Zuken E3, 3D and 2D design work using SolidEdge and release of the bills of materials and drawings. RJAT Consultancy was also retained to complete first of type build support at the manufacturers facility, completing troubleshooting and supporting the technicians in the build and test of the vehicles as well as supporting our customer with progress meetings and attending final sign offs of the buses. For this project RJAT Consultancy used an Engineer with experience of electrical schematics design, EDS design and build support.
